Prepare and publish your first skin

A useful skin page explains what people are downloading and who made it. Prepare a matching geometry and texture pair and check it before publishing.

Prepare your files

Upload the geometry JSON or paste it into the creator form. Review the identifier suggested by the normalizer and its output before continuing. Attach the matching PNG, keeping its transparency and pixel details.

Review the preview

Wait for rendering to finish and inspect the face, accessories and limbs. The thumbnail is saved with the listing. If it looks wrong, first check that you selected the right pair of files; a correct thumbnail is still not a substitute for testing in Minecraft.

Write a useful description

Describe the model appearance, distinctive details, inspiration and any limitations you tested. Mention accessories or unusual proportions. Do not claim support for devices or versions you have not checked. Publish only your own work or content you have permission to share, keeping the appropriate credits.

Edit and organize

Update the name, description and files from your dashboard. Collections group existing skins: choose models with a clear connection and explain what brings them together. Check the thumbnail and download after replacing geometry or texture.
