Terms and Privacy
Last updated: 21 April 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the website and related services operated at trmc-addons.com and subdomains, collectively the Site or TRMC Add-Ons. By using the Site, creating a creator account, subscribing to updates, or downloading or browsing add-ons and maps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who these Terms apply to
We address two main groups: visitors and players, anyone who browses the Site, downloads content, subscribes to emails or notifications, or uses our web or mobile experiences; and creators, people who register as partners, are approved to use the creator dashboard, and publish or manage add-ons, maps, changelogs, media, or related metadata through TRMC Add-Ons.
Some sections apply only to creators; others apply to everyone.
2. Nature of the service
TRMC Add-Ons is an independent platform that hosts, indexes, and distributes user-submitted Minecraft-related add-ons, maps, news, and related materials. We may display advertising, run analytics, send optional product-update messages where you have opted in, and operate creator tools such as dashboards, earnings summaries, and notification channels. Features may change over time.
3. Intellectual property
Creators retain ownership of their add-ons, maps, names, logos, descriptions, artwork, audio, code to the extent they hold rights in it, and other materials they submit. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that content from creators to us.
Visitors and other users do not acquire ownership of any add-on by downloading it. They receive only the limited end-user rights described in the download and use section.
4. License granted to TRMC Add-Ons
By uploading, submitting, or otherwise making content available through TRMC Add-Ons, including via tools, APIs, feeds, or integrations, creators grant TRMC Add-Ons a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license for the duration the content is listed or stored with us.
This license lets us host, store, reproduce, adapt, encode, compress, convert, transmit, publicly display, perform, distribute, attribute, promote, send related technical or product-update notices, and process submitted content for security, malware scanning, spam prevention, and abuse detection.
This license ends for new uses when content is removed and reasonable deletion from live systems has been completed. Backups and residual CDN caches may persist for a limited technical period, and some copies may remain where the law requires retention or where users already downloaded files outside our control.
5. Creator accounts, approval, and dashboard
Creator access may require registration, contact verification, and manual or automated approval. We may refuse, suspend, or revoke access for breach of these terms, legal risk, security concerns, or operational reasons.
Creators are responsible for keeping their credentials secure and for activity under their accounts. Information provided for contact, profiles, payouts, or legal notices should be accurate and kept up to date.
6. End-user rights
Unless a specific add-on or creator publishes a separate license, use of downloaded content is limited to a personal, non-commercial license to install and use the add-on or map with Minecraft in line with Mojang terms and the creator stated rules.
Without prior written permission from the rightful owner, users may not redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, publicly share piracy download links, decompile, reverse engineer except where mandatory law allows, remove attribution or license notices, or use the Site or Content to build a competing mirror or bulk scraper.
7. Partner program, earnings, and payouts
Where a partner or revenue-sharing program exists, additional rules such as percentages, eligibility, payment methods, tax forms, and minimum thresholds may be communicated in the creator dashboard, by email, or in separate agreements.
Aggregated or per-period earnings data may be processed from reports, analytics, or third-party sources. Figures are informational and may be adjusted for refunds, fraud, chargebacks, or reporting delays. We do not guarantee uninterrupted monetization or a minimum income.
8. Prohibited conduct
Users must not upload malware or deceptive software, impersonate others, harass users or staff, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, scrape the Site in a way that harms performance or violates published robots rules, circumvent technical limits or paywalls, or use the Site for unlawful purposes.
9. Third-party rights and Minecraft disclaimer
TRMC Add-Ons is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang AB, Microsoft Corporation, or Minecraft. Minecraft, Mojang, and related marks and assets are trademarks and intellectual property of their respective owners. Add-ons are community creations; compatibility and behaviour may vary by game version and platform.
10. Advertising, analytics, and cookies
We use advertising, analytics, and consent tools as configured on the Site. You can adjust cookie and consent choices where our consent management platform provides a user interface, including through the cookie settings link in the footer when available.
11. Newsletter and product-update communications
By subscribing to newsletters or similar opt-in channels, users consent to storing their email address and preferences to send product-update notifications and related service messages. We do not sell email addresses as a standalone product, though subprocessors may be used strictly for email delivery.
12. Other notifications
Optional notifications, including web push, mobile app push, or Discord integrations, may involve separate prompts or platform permissions. Users can typically revoke them through the device, browser, or relevant app settings.
13. DMCA, copyright complaints, and repeat policy
We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, send a detailed notice including identification of the work, the URL on our Site, your contact information, and statements required by applicable law. We may remove or disable access to material when appropriate and may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
14. Moderation, removal, and termination
We may remove, refuse, or restrict any content or account that we believe violates these terms, the law, or third-party rights, or that poses security or operational risk. We may also discontinue the Site or features with reasonable notice where practicable.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all content are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that add-ons will be error-free, virus-free, or compatible with every device or Minecraft version.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRMC Add-Ons and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Site or content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability for claims relating to the Site in any twelve-month period is limited to amounts paid for optional paid services offered directly by TRMC Add-Ons in that period, or zero if no such payments were made. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The last updated date changes when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice such as a banner or email to creators.
18. Contact
For general questions, support, collaborations, or notices about content, use the contact link on this site.
19. Cookie settings
Cookie choices can be modified through the cookie settings control when the consent tool is loaded.
